The environmental impact of the Kirchentag is examined within the framework of the EMAS eco management system. As part of this process, the KlAnG measures were included in the catalogue of environmental measures. The implementation of the KlAnG measures was examined through this structural embedding within the framework of the eco management system and included in an recurring cycle for the next years.

When using an eco management system, climate change adaptation measures should be included and embedded in continuous processes in order to ensure continuous monitoring and further development.
