Lay footpaths in the shade. This idea can be taken into account in the planning of footpaths – especially in the early planning phase – but also in the short-term designation of necessary footpaths for participants. It makes sense to use the shade of buildings and to designate the corresponding sidewalks. When using the route all day, the afternoon shade should be shown as the route connection. If avenues or other shade providers are available, the planning should be carried out individually on site. Taking the on-site appointment in the afternoon can make planning easier.

Note

Shadow is also desirable for parking. Appropriate barriers can prevent this.
