Integrate outdoor swimming pools to allow cooling down

Specification of the idea

In the run-up to the Kirchentag, the idea arose to include the nearby open-air swimming pools in order to provide the possibility of cooling down.

Note

The measure could not be implemented at the Dortmund Kirchentag. At this point, however, it should be taken up and passed on as an idea. In particular, the aspect of cooling (and recreation) in outdoor swimming pools can be assessed as a climate adaptation measure. In addition, organisers* can upgrade their event with free access to outdoor swimming pools.
