Concretisation of the measure
It all comes together for the floor: Set-up activities, visitor feet, rubbish and dismantling activities of the event, lead to destruction and more and more often extreme weather events, such as heat waves, drought and heavy rain, also lead to overload. In the run-up to an event, it is therefore important to consider which areas could be particularly affected. By revising the planning, permanent damage, excessive compaction of the soil and cost-intensive and lengthy, renaturation of the event areas can be avoided.
Note
It is essential to take these downstream costs into account in budget planning, so that the event can be held at the same location in the following year.
