Use of existing information infrastructure to raise awareness

Concretisation of the measure

Within the framework of the KlAnG project it was tried to do as much sensitization work as possible on the topic of climate-change-adapted behaviour. For this purpose, the already existing information infrastructure was used. Communication takes place at major events anyway, so the resource-saving approach was to extend it to the aspect of climate-adapted behaviour.

Climate adaptation aspect

Sensitised participants pay more attention to themselves and others – therefore heat-related illnesses can be prevented.

Communication should always be specific for different target groups and as barrier-free as possible.
