Testing heat-friendly events

 Concretisation of the measure

Within the KlAnG project unconventional things could be tried out, which aim to break old habits. For example, within the framework of a workshop on a major event adapted to climate change, folding-hat-instructions were tested, but also concepts such as drinking breaks (interruptions of events in which everyone drinks water), drinking sponsorships (people take control of the litres already drunk for others, especially for children and older people who often have no feeling (any more) about whether they have drunk enough) or to implement the concept of Casual Friday (coming to the office without a costume and tie but in light and comfortable clothing) at events were discussed and tested internally.

Note

It must be assumed that the weather will change noticeably in the coming years. Accompanying symptoms will not only affect events but also preparation processes. It is therefore advisable to take a close look at all structures and to test new ideas. In addition to drinking breaks and short trousers for the boss, there are certainly many other measures and ideas for climate-adapted design. Perhaps you are already testing white clothing for sound engineers, biodegradable drinking packs or similar? We would be very pleased to receive information on further heat-friendly event tips.
