Concretization of the idea

In the run-up to the Kirchentag, special attention was paid to groups particularly affected by weather changes in a workshop with the Kirchentag department, which is responsible for all of the participants’ concerns. In this workshop the idea arose, that emergency accommodation might be made available, in particular for vulnerable groups of people, who cannot leave the event due to extreme weather events.

Note

During the Kirchentag in Dortmund there was a care center for sick participants, realized by the Johanniter Unfallhilfe, in which sick participants, who did not have to go to a hospital, could stay. Weather-related diseases were also included here. There was no need for emergency accommodation after the end of the Kirchentag. At this point the idea is recorded and multiplied for documentation and as an idea.
